how-to-have-a-lovely-day asked: Hello! Thank you for your blog! I really enjoy looking at all the pictures of London because I am desperately in love with England and especially London. I am 18 years old and I am from Germany and I'd love to go to London in summer (I just finished school and now want to enjoy life). Can you give me any advice how to find a room/shared flat and a job (e.g. at a café or hotel) in London? Many many thanks! Cheerio! ;-)

Hi how-to-have-a-lovely-day,

Thank you so much for the praise! It means a lot to me. However, unfortunately, I am probably the worst person to ask about finding a room/shared flat and a job. My time here has been very temporary, and I’ve been very coddled; the apartment I have is through school and I haven’t had to worry about getting a job (and wouldn’t be able to get one anyway due to the type of visa I have) because I’ve been studying here for the last five months.

Nevertheless, I really hope you pursue your dream of coming to London this summer. It is a wonderful place.

Good luck!
